WELCOME TO MY BEAUTIFUL, MESSY AND CREATIVE JOURNEY

Hello, everyone—welcome!

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Crystal Remington, and I’m the owner and creator behind Crazy Girl Studio Gifts and More, formerly known as Crazy Girl Soaps.

I love making soap and all kinds of crafty things, spending time with my family, reading, and learning something new whenever I can. I’m also very passionate about mental health awareness and breaking the stigma that still surrounds mental illness.

I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2006, and I’m not going to lie—it has been a bumpy road at times. I’ve been fortunate to have family and friends who support me and have taken the time to educate themselves about bipolar disorder. I know not everyone living with mental illness has that kind of support, so I feel incredibly blessed.

That doesn’t mean I have everything figured out. I’m still a work in progress, just like everyone else. Some days are definitely better than others, and sometimes I would love nothing more than to crawl into a hole and shut myself away from the world—but I ain’t got time for that!

My soap-making journey began in my kitchen in 2018. What started as a creative hobby slowly grew into a business. It has been a long road—and sometimes a pretty rocky one—but it has always been worth it.

Crazy Girl Studio originally began as Crazy Girl Soaps, but as my love for creating continued to grow, I decided to add handmade crafts and personalized gifts to the mix. That’s how Crazy Girl Studio Gifts and More came to be!

Soap will always have a special place in my heart, but creativity has never fit neatly into just one box. I’m excited to share more of my handmade gift items with you very soon.
